Undeserved Civility: A note to whatever mod gets directed here because they got a flag from me mentioning "bannable" (lol, rhymes with Hannibal) sites, neither am I capable of doing anything nor am I in possession of the willingness to do anything even if it were in my power to do so.
I want to be civil here, and I sincerely hope that such an attitude isn't something you people regard as something worth banning.
The Issue As It Stands: A note from a mod, recieved by a source that I will keep confidential.
"I'll be perfectly clear here-
People who spend time on 4chan or 7chan or any other 'raiding' website have worn out their welcome here along with everyone else who decides to assist them in even the slightest way.
We are prepared to take whatever action is necessary to put an end to it and just like with this last sweep we are not going to bother issuing any warnings and second chances are going to be non-existant. You already have two firm strikes against you due to your behavior in June and July of this year-I've spent the last few days debating whether or not you rate a third chance since your last two bans don't seem to have taught you anything about proper behavior on deviantART."
There are many things wrong with the perspective this person is apparently taking, and if they want to ban me for correcting them and telling the truth, God help me let them. There may not be a lot I can do but I can let people now when something's not right.
POINTS THAT THE ADMINS NEED TO KNOW:
A: First of all, you all seem to be under the impression that 4/7chan are in the same categories. What you need to realize is that 4chan BANS invasion discussions. 7chan encourages them. The majority of your bans have been aimed at people who visit 4chan. If you truly wish to shoot first and ask questions later, then what I'm saying doesn't even matter to you right now. If that's the case, I'm really disappointed in these people who claim to be moderators.
B: Second, you assume that EITHER of these sites are actually ORGANIZED in any way. HA. Forced anon makes for tricky business. Both 4chan and 7chan are collective mob mentalities. You can have a peaceful protest, but there's always gonna be 4-5 jackasses who jump the shark. Ban by proxy is just insane, though.
C: Thirdly, you're under the impression that we're all just such horrible subhuman creatures that your bans would cast us into darkness. If you could see better, you'd see that that kind of thing is what's PROVOKING these acts. You're only making it worse. You can say you've tried being civil, but when someone's banned for happening to post something at the same time as one of these so-called "raids", yet nothing has been done by the individual, you need a serious reality check.
STOP BANNING INNOCENT PEOPLE.
I tried being nice, they'll try being belligerent. I hope my method is the one you take seriously, before the other occurs. That's not a threat because like I've said: I can't and won't do anything, but you need to realize what you're doing. It's a plea.
Not like it matters. If I'm not banned I'll be ignored. Hurrah for apathy. e_e
Side-note: To all the other people who watch my journal, sorry about this. Don't ask any questions and don't get involved because I honestly don't feel like explaining it all over again. See you next update.
FREAKING EDIT: OKAY. I've had it with the fact that the most faved item in my entire inventory is a freaking AVATAR I made before I even started drawing. IT'S IN THE SCRAPS FOR GOD'S SAKE. EVERY FAV TO THAT CRAPPIECE IS ANOTHER HOLE IN MY SELF-CONFIDENCE. So screw it, that piece is deleted.
